Chris Law - Chairman

A reinstated amateur golfer, playing out of the Northern Golf Club, formerly a teaching professional at the Kings Links Golf Centre. Chris started his junior life at Hazlehead Golf Club alongside his brothers Daniel and David. Sport seems to be a family affair with Daniel being the Sports Editor at the Press and Journal and David playing golf professionally on the European Tour.

Chris is a massive advocate of the social aspects of what golf can bring to a child and is a firm believer that you don’t have to be good to enjoy it! The Kings Links Junior Fund has been created on this premise - accessibility, participation and enjoyment will always be the priority.

Paul Girvan - Vice Chairman

Paul, a former Walker Cup player, now Director of Golf at the Kings Links Golf Centre has a passion for golf that drives those around him. With over 30 years of teaching experience, Paul’s knowledge has been instrumental in developing coaching programmes for schools and he oversees the professionals that deliver these sessions.

Ron Evett - Secretary/Treasurer

Ron, a scratch handicap former Links Champion, came on board as a trustee as he too shares in the vision of providing all youngsters with access to this great sport. A member of the Northern Golf Club, Ron has first hand experience in supporting junior sections at golf clubs. This experience will be utilised to aid golf clubs to provide suitable environments for youngsters to flourish.
