Golf, whilst an individual sport, is enjoyed by people of all abilities and from all walks of life. The golf club for many is the hub of the community, a place for families, a place for people to congregate, make friends and expand their social circles. Our aim is to see an increase in juniors receiving the benefits of golf club membership and enjoying playing golf throughout the North East.

Golf is and always will be a sport for everyone, not just the elite. Our focus is on grass roots coaching, ensuring juniors are ready for the golf course and able to enjoy the sport. This is achieved by providing group coaching in schools, at golf clubs and at the Kings Links Golf Centre.

The following support will be provided through the Kings Links Junior Fund:

  • Schools Coaching Programme- we are working in partnership with Sport Aberdeen and Active Schools to provide children aged 8+ with golf as part of their curriculum

  • Group Coaching at affiliated golf clubs and the Kings Links Golf Centre

  • Individual Lessons - for children who will benefit most from one to one tuition rather than group coaching

  • Golf club membership to your closest affiliated golf club

  • Course access to all municipal courses in partnership with Sport Aberdeen
